Having spent a good part of today immersed in hand-calligraphy – crafting President Bill Clinton’s name onto an invitation – and working on a commemorative publication featuring the man himself, I find myself drawn to other examples of fine calligraphy…
Danae Blackburn-Hernandez for example has been “fascinated with letters” ever since she can remember. Danae took her first calligraphy lesson when she was 12, and has continued to study the art ever since, incorporating watercolour paintings to create these beautiful wedding maps, signs and invitations.
