Q&A with Alice:
How did Sam propose:
“In a fisherman’s hut by the seafront in Whitstable – from that moment the search was on for the perfect beach venue.”
Why the The Gallivant
“It is a beautiful venue set in the most wonderful setting, and they offered us the chance to have our reception on the beach – how unique and special.
The whole Gallivant team allowed us to feel special, despite being an extremely busy wedding venue as well as a successful hotel and restaurant.”
“I initially bought a dress the year before the wedding, but gradually went off it for one reason or another…. Sam saved the day, though, and we went shopping the weekend before the wedding and he found my dress in the sale in Coast – it cost £90! My friends, mum and myself embellished it with lace straps and a belt the night before the wedding.
I was so happy in that dress, and it was perfect for the occasion.”
“Like most couples, we didn’t eat very much on the day! However…. the late night fish and chips were a welcome treat. Not to mention the delicious lemon wedding cake made by Jacki – Sam’s mum!
Most amazing memory
“Dancing like there was no tomorrow with my gorgeous husband by my side, and my best friends and family surrounding us. I can’t remember ever being happier.
